I decided to do the you in six words since I am taking a creative writing class next semester and thought it would be fun :) The six-word memoirs from the website smithmag.net are so interesting to read. I highly advise you all to take a look at it and sign up.
So here is what I choose to describe me in 6 words - flower waiting to bloom, add water
I am in this transition point in my life where I am on the brink of change and new opportunities.
I have to be ready to wander into the unknown and see where it takes me.

I really like your metaphor which describes your transition that you see in your life! I can see why you are taking a creative writing class next semester, and based on your blog, I bet you will do well.
ReplyDeleteWriting is one of the best ways to express your inner thoughts and emotions, some of which you may discover for the first time. I wish I was more able to do this in person, rather than just on the internet. Every time I write I enjoy it and I always ask myself why I don't write more often. I can relate to being a flower waiting to bloom, although for some reason I find myself repressing these thoughts and telling myself not to bother. That doesn't make much sense. What I get from this is that your mind is open and ready for new and exciting experiences and challenges. I'm truly envious as I wish I could convince myself to be more open minded. When I think of people who are open minded I think of words like enthusiasm, positivity, and creativity. Great memoir!
ReplyDeletethis is a great 6 words because you are describing your life right now and that you are ready for it to change and bloom into something amazing but it is going to take time and patience and some work in order to fully bloom!
ReplyDeleteThats a good 6 words to describe what point your life is at right now. And the reason you chose it. Good luck next semester with the creative writing class.
ReplyDeleteI love you six words! We really are in such a turning point in our lives that these words really describe what we need to do. I love that there is so many ways to explain it.. like Teresa did in her comment and also how we are all so different (like the many different flowers) :) good job.
ReplyDeleteI like that your 6 words give a picture in your mind of where you are as a person
ReplyDeleteI really like your 6 words, It is simple but meaningful. Life has a lot to offer and we need to be ready to take advantage of the great opportunities.
